About the project
Sign-Help is a web application that uses TensorFlow.js to detect hand signs in real-time, bridging the communication gap between individuals with hearing/speech impairments and those without.
The Challenge
Developing an efficient real-time detection model directly in the browser that is highly responsive while ensuring user privacy by retaining all computations client-side.
The Solution
Leveraged TensorFlow.js to run the lightweight hand-pose detection models directly in the user's browser, eliminating server-side processing latency and greatly optimizing the application speed.
